In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining building systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs across various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to the seamless functioning of our facilities. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical equipment, plumbing, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals; utilize hand tools and electrical equipment repair techniques. Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and ensuring optimal performance; conduct HVAC system repairs as needed. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection, pipe repairs, and fixture servicing. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control building automation systems for lighting, climate control, and security functions. Use schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults in electrical circuits or mechanical systems. Perform carpentry tasks such as maintenance painting or interior repairs to uphold building aesthetics and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; follow procedures for MRO (maintenance, repair & operations). Collaborate with team members to ensure facilities equipment maintenance aligns with safety regulations and operational standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing occupant concerns promptly and professionally. Lead small teams during maintenance projects or emergency responses when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building engineering with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in electrical work including repair of electrical equipment; experience with schematics is essential. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and plumbing system maintenance; familiarity with HVAC controls is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools effectively; experience with welding is a plus. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems. Skilled in reading technical schematics and using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Strong understanding of plumbing systems, carpentry skills including painting, and general facilities equipment maintenance. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of documenting work accurately. Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide team efforts during complex repairs or projects. Valid certifications related to electrical work or HVAC are advantageous; experience with MRO processes is preferred.
