E2PM is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer with broad-based expertise in Site Development Projects and Infrastructure. This is a mid-level engineering position that offers a variety of interesting and challenging opportunities in civil engineering and will provide an excellent opportunity for career advancement working alongside experienced senior level professionals. This position is for a dynamic, client focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and energetic individual to join the firms engineering department providing support under Senior Level Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design, analysis, land-use permitting and construction support for clients throughout the Tri-State area. This applicant should have a working knowledge and experience in land development/site planning, civil design, and Infrastructure projects.TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with preparation of Existing Condition Assessments, Preliminary Design, Schematic Design, and Construction Drawings and Documents. Perform Site/civil designs including grading, roadway, storm water management, green infrastructure, water, and sewer mains, signing, and erosion and sediment control design. Assist with preparation of associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets. Work on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans. Assist with preparation of preliminary and final designs, specifications using AutoCAD. Conduct field work including investigations, data collection, sign and roadway infrastructure inventory collection, and observation of soil borings. Assist with completing and submitting all permit applications to appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the design and construction stages. Operate in full compliance with company policies and procedures and verify implementation and compliance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
BS in Civil Engineering, MS Preferred NJ PE License Preferred, Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certification considered 3-5+ Years of related work experience (primarily in NJ /NY). Proficient in Microsoft Office, Civil 3-D, and/or AutoCad Knowledge of land use zoning and municipal land use law (preferred) Familiar with NJDEP Land-Use permits (stream encroachment, flood hazard permits, soil erosion and sediment control, waterfront development) Familiar with the NJ Storm Water Best Management Practices. Familiar with NJ/NY agencies standards and protocols including: NJDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, PANYNJ, and NJTA is a plus. Strong knowledge of applicable NJ & NY building and design codes Experience with civil design software programs (HEC RAS; hydroCAD, STAAD
III, Revit) Must be responsible for maintaining licensure and keeping up with industry standards and software. Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel on an as needed basis. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Pay:
$65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:
