Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector Overview Wolf Works is looking for Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erectors to join our commercial and industrial construction team. We are primarily looking for experienced PEMB/steel erection hands who can step onto a jobsite and contribute immediately. However, we are also willing to consider motivated individuals with strong construction backgrounds who want to learn the metal building trade. Our crews erect pre-engineered metal buildings throughout Northern Nevada, including commercial shops, industrial facilities, warehouses, and other large steel structures. Travel is a requirement for this position. Lodging and per-diem will be included. Responsibilities Erect pre-engineered metal building structural steel Install columns, rafters, girts, purlins, bracing, and secondary framing Perform structural bolt-up and connections Install metal roofing and wall panels Install insulation systems, closures, flashing, and building trim Install framed openings, walk doors, and overhead door components as required Operate and work from telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other construction equipment Rig, lift, position, and secure structural steel components Read and understand PEMB erection drawings and construction plans Use impacts, drills, grinders, saws, levels, tape measures, and other common erection tools Work safely at heights while using required fall-protection equipment Maintain an organized and safe jobsite Work efficiently as part of an erection crew Experience Experienced PEMB erectors are strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will have experience with: Pre-engineered metal building erection Structural steel erection and bolt-up Metal roofing and siding PEMB insulation systems Reading erection drawings Telehandlers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts Rigging and working around cranes Fall protection and working at heights Commercial or industrial construction Candidates with strong construction experience but limited PEMB experience may also be considered.
