Help Design the Infrastructure Communities Depend on as a Civil Engineering Intern Ready to make an impact on the roads, airports, water systems, and infrastructure that keep our communities moving? CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking Civil Engineering Interns to join our 2027 Internship Program . As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects, and learn how civil engineering shapes the places where people live, work, and travel. Whether supporting transportation, water, aviation, or other infrastructure projects, you'll help create solutions that improve everyday life.
What You'll Do:
Support civil engineering design, planning, and project development efforts Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams Gain exposure to real-world infrastructure projects across a variety of industries and markets, applying classroom knowledge to projects that help improve mobility, connectivity, sustainability, and resiliency Participate in professional development, networking opportunities, and intern program activities
What You Bring:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Civil Engineering and enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited program Must have completed at least one year of college before the internship begins (rising sophomores eligible); juniors and seniors preferred May 2027 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship Program Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; AutoCAD experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills
