Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Are you an early-career Civil Engineer or EIT looking for an opportunity to build hands-on experience across a wide variety of civil engineering projects? An established multidisciplinary engineering and surveying firm is seeking a full-time Civil Staff Engineer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join its Civil Engineering team in Cairo, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to civil design, land development, infrastructure, permitting, and field operations while working alongside experienced engineers, surveyors, and other professionals. What You'll Do Prepare civil engineering drawings and project plans using AutoCAD or Civil 3D Support site plans, subdivisions, roadway and utility designs, grading and drainage plans, and land development projects Assist with stormwater management, sewer and water infrastructure, and onsite septic system designs Prepare project exhibits, reports, permit applications, agency submittals, and supporting documentation Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, field personnel, and other project team members Participate in site visits, soil testing, field evaluations, and construction observations Observe sewer, water, roadway, parking, and other civil infrastructure installations Assist with stormwater compliance observations and utility testing Maintain detailed field notes, photographs, reports, and as-built information Manage multiple project assignments and deadlines while maintaining established quality standards What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering required Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D Understanding of sewer, water, stormwater, roadway, parking, and site infrastructure systems Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Willingness to travel to project sites for inspections, soil testing, and field coordination as needed Why Consider This Opportunity?
