Job Description
SENIOR / ASSISTANT ENGINEER
(CIVIL) The Town of Bethlehem Department of Public Works is seeking candidates for a mid-level Civil Engineer. The title for this position will be determined based on the experience of the candidate. Primary duties include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:- Manage and administer Town capital projects through design and construction
- Review plans, reports and SWPPPs submitted as part of Planning Board applications
- Review grading plans submitted as part of Building Permit applications and perform grading inspections
- Review grading permit applications and perform associated inspections
- Prepare drawings, specifications and cost estimates for Town capital projects
