In this role, you will develop site layouts, foundations, drainage, and access infrastructure for power plants and related facilities, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support construction oversight, and contribute to sustainability and resilience initiatives. Responsibilities Design and analyze civil infrastructure supporting energy generation and distribution facilities Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports Perform site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies for new and existing utility projects Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Support construction oversight, inspections, and quality control activities Contribute to sustainability and resilience initiatives within utility infrastructure Use civil and structural design software to model and optimize designs Assist with budget estimates, scheduling, and risk mitigation planning Provide technical guidance and documentation throughout project lifecycle Required Skills Civil engineering design Structural analysis Auto CAD Civil 3 DConstruction oversight Site surveying and assessment Hydrology and drainage design Regulatory and code compliance Project documentation and reporting Cost estimating and scheduling GIS and mapping tools
