Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, managing, and overseeing civil infrastructure projects that enhance community development and environmental sustainability. Your expertise will drive project success from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to technical standards, safety protocols, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to impactful infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including stormwater management systems, pipelines, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. Develop detailed schematics and technical drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation. Perform hydrological modeling and hydrologic analysis utilizing tools like
SWMM, HEC
programs, Hydrologic modeling software, and GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and GIS-based tools. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively while coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies during the permitting phase. Conduct construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), construction inspection experience, and ensuring compliance with design specifications. Generate comprehensive technical engineering reports detailing project progress, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, geotechnical assessments, and system design documentation. Oversee the drafting of schematics and system designs for civil infrastructure projects while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Provide leadership in team collaboration efforts by guiding junior engineers and supporting project engineering tasks from initial concept through construction completion. Requirements Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Proven experience managing civil infrastructure projects with a focus on stormwater systems, pipelines, or water/wastewater treatment facilities. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation; experience with Bluebeam for document management is a plus. Strong knowledge of hydrological/hydraulic modeling tools such as
SWMM, HEC
programs, Hydrologic analysis tools; familiarity with GIS platforms like ArcGIS is essential. Hands-on construction management experience including construction inspection and site supervision. Skilled in project scheduling techniques and construction estimating processes to ensure timely project delivery within budget constraints. Excellent technical writing skills for creating reports and documentation; ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, land surveying practices, hydraulics systems design, and permitting processes involved in civil projects. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
