Ohio , Akron Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a Project Engineer to support heavy highway and bridge projects, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams on DOT and municipal construction. Key Responsibilities Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, and quantity management Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers Review plans and specifications for constructability and compliance Maintain accurate project documentation and support project closeout Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) 1-5 years experience on heavy civil, highway, or bridge projects Familiarity with DOT or municipal construction preferred Proficiency with Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar tools Why Join Us Work on large-scale heavy highway and bridge projects Hands-on experience with experienced leadership and field teams Competitive pay, benefits, and career growth opportunities If you are interested in this Project Engineer role in the Cleveland area please apply!
