& Utility Intern at our Lewis Center or Carey, Ohio office. You'll work alongside experienced VDC professionals, engineers, estimators, and project teams while contributing to multi-million-dollar projects from design through construction.

What You'll Experience:

Real Projects, Real Impact Contribute to projects where VDC plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, estimating, and building complex systems.

BIM & 3D

Modeling Gain hands-on experience with BIM, 3D modeling, construction drawings, and digital construction technologies, including Inventor . MEP & Utility Coordination Help coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, High Voltage, Technology, and Utility systems to improve constructability and reduce field conflicts. Clash Detection & Constructability Learn how VDC teams use digital models and Inventor to identify and resolve conflicts before they become costly issues in the field. Preconstruction & Estimating Gain exposure to quantity takeoffs, estimating, bid preparation, and how VDC supports project planning. Field & Fabrication Exposure See how digital models translate into real-world construction and support prefabrication and installation. Mentorship & Collaboration Work directly with experienced professionals across our VDC, engineering, estimating, and construction teams. What We're Looking For:

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field Strong interest in

VDC, BIM, MEP

systems, utilities, or construction technology Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn Comfortable learning new technology and software Experience with Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other BIM/modeling platforms is a plus, but not required Whether you're applying classroom knowledge or exploring a career in VDC, this is your opportunity to learn, contribute, and help build the future of construction.
