Job Description

Position Description The Project Engineer role is a developmental position that supports project execution and team success through proactive communication, coordination, and technical contributions. This individual works closely with Project Managers and field teams to help ensure smooth delivery of multifamily projects, particularly in the areas of doors, frames, hardware, and trim. This role provides hands-on learning opportunities as preparation for future advancement into project management. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to plan and execute projects according to established timelines and budgets
  • Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of project trackers, schedules, and documentation
  • Prepare and manage order forms for doors, frames, hardware, and trim
  • Perform trim takeoffs in accordance with the project's phasing schedule, when required
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for jobsite personnel to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues
  • Provide problem-solving support to address project challenges and coordinate solutions with field teams and vendors
  • Conduct delivery audits to verify accuracy and completeness of material shipments
  • Coordinate with suppliers and site teams to ensure timely and correct deliveries
  • Actively participate in company-provided training and development opportunities
  • Embrace learning and growth within the role as preparation for future advancement into Project Management Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to interpret basic construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
  • Interest in developing a long-term career in project management
Pay:
$45,000.00
