You will be part of a collaborative team of 450+ planners, engineers, designers, and scientists across North America who share a commitment to deliver smart, practical, and lasting solutions for clients and communities. What you'll get to do: Lead and grow V3's Ohio transportation design group while building a team environment where people, projects, and client relationships thrive. Shape growth strategy by identifying market opportunities, strengthening V3's public-sector presence, and turning ideas into action. Build trusted relationships with clients, agencies, partners, and stakeholders to support strategic pursuits and wins. Develop and mentor technical team members, strengthening capability and helping people grow into larger roles. Build a strong team culture rooted in V3's values, employee ownership, accountability, collaboration, and community pride. Connect clients to V3's full strength by partnering across offices, disciplines, service lines, and market sectors. Drive performance through clear priorities, disciplined project delivery, resource planning, and accountability for results. Collaborate across V3 to strengthen pursuits, share resources, elevate best practices, and support consistent client service. Champion safety, quality, client service , and long-term value creation as part of a growing employee-owned firm. What will help you thrive in this role: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. 12+ years of experience delivering transportation and infrastructure improvement projects for municipalities, counties, and ODOT. A passion for leading people—coaching, mentoring, and helping technical professionals grow in their careers. A track record of building client relationships, supporting business development, and helping grow a transportation market. Strong judgment in project delivery, resource planning, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. A collaborative, entrepreneurial leadership style and the ability to work effectively across service lines, regions, and firmwide teams. Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, Civil 3D, or similar transportation design platforms. Strong communication skills for proposals, interviews, presentations, and client conversations.
