Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful delivery of complex construction projects. In this role, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that all phases of construction adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and budget constraints. Your expertise in construction management software, and project scheduling principles will be instrumental in facilitating seamless communication among stakeholders and maintaining project momentum from inception to completion. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software to ensure timely project delivery. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to align project plans with scope, budget, and timeline objectives. Review construction plans and specifications thoroughly to identify potential issues and suggest effective solutions. Monitor construction progress on-site through regular inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily reports using construction management software like ProCore or Prolog. Assist in cost management by analyzing Excel data for budgeting accuracy and tracking project expenditures against forecasts. Support project management activities such as risk assessment, resource allocation, and schedule adjustments to optimize workflow efficiency. Experience Proven experience in construction site management roles within the construction industry. Demonstrated proficiency with construction estimating tools and HeavyBid processes. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling software including Primavera P6 or similar platforms like MS Project or Primavera P3. Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam, ProCore, Prolog, HeavyJob, or similar tools for document control and collaboration. Strong understanding of construction plans, contracts, and cost control methods coupled with excellent analysis skills. Prior experience coordinating multiple stakeholders on large-scale projects from planning through execution. Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
