- Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Structural Engineer within our Private Sector Group (Industrial) to support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm.
- Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis + 6-12 years of experience, preferably in the design of water and wastewater treatment structures + Registration as a Professional Engineer + Expert in the application of building codes and code-referenced standards for design of water treatment and industrial structures in concrete, steel, and reinforced masonry + Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated experience working with minimum supervision to determine and complete structural engineering tasks while acting as part of a multi-disciplinary project team + Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of specifications for construction using concrete, masonry and steel + Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of presentation of structural design and detailing in construction documents + Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of structural design codes and standards + Skilled in organizing and coordinating work with both peers and subordinates, and in planning, monitoring, and completing projects within that plan + Production and project management skills and experience + Strong oral and written communications skills + Proficient in public speaking roles + Proficient in MS Word and Excel •Preferred Qualifications•+ Master's degree in Structural Engineering + Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD + Registration as a Structural Engineer •Other Compensation and Benefits•Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the care employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
