Job Description
Project Engineer - Commercial Construction We are seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects from award through final closeout. This role plays a key part in project coordination, documentation, and execution , working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure projects run smoothly, stay organized, and meet quality and schedule expectations. Key Responsibilities Support project teams from preconstruction through closeout Assist with RFIs, submittals, and overall project documentation Review drawings, specifications, and contract requirements Help develop and track project schedules and milestones Monitor project progress, materials, and quality control Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover processes Support jobsite safety efforts and ensure compliance with company standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) and Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Central and Southern Ohio Why Join Opportunity to build a long-term career in commercial construction Hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of projects Strong mentorship from Project Managers and field leadership
