Job Description:
Summary:
This role involves designing and managing a variety of infrastructure projects for municipalities and local school districts, including roads, underground utilities, public buildings, and recreational facilities. The professional will serve as a primary point of contact for municipal clients, coordinating projects and ensuring successful delivery while meeting client expectations. Responsibilities include developing engineering solutions, performing design and analysis, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. The role also requires presenting project updates in public meetings, supporting construction inspection teams, and providing technical guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements:
Must hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) license and reside in or near the Allentown area. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Approximately 10-15 years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure project management.
Job Qualifications:
Experience with infrastructure design such as transportation systems, utilities, hydraulic systems, or public facilities. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage client relationships. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and the ability to analyze surveys, maps, and engineering data.
