The Project Engineer II plays a key role in supporting the design, development, and implementation of water filtration projects. The Project Engineer works closely with a team of engineers and collaborates with various departments to ensure project goals are met within specified timelines and budgets. This role is roughly 60% technical design, 35% project management and 5% communicating with customers and vendors.

Project Engineer II Responsibilities:
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan and execute water filtration projects. Assists in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards. Creates detailed project plans, drawings, schedules, budgets, and monitor progress to ensure milestones are achieved. Conducts engineering analyses, calculations, and simulations to optimize filtration system designs. Collaborates with the procurement team to source and purchase project materials, equipment, and services. Assists in risk assessment and develop mitigation plans to address potential project challenges. Oversees the construction, installation, and commissioning of filtration systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Maintains accurate project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Collaborates with quality control to implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle. Assists in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during project execution. Prepares and delivers project updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders. Supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency.
Project Engineer II Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, environmental, or related field). 2+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or similar role, preferably in water filtration or related industries. 1 year of experience Inventor-preferred or SolidWorks (would consider someone with only AutoCAD experience). Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in engineering software and tools. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manager multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with water filtration technologies and systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols. Must be open to 25% travel #LS665
