Job Description

Position Overview:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within the project management field. You will initially support the project management team with day-to-day tasks, gaining valuable experience and insight into the full project lifecycle. Over time, this role is designed to evolve, with the expectation that the individual will take on increasing responsibilities and eventually transition into a Project Manager position. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, eager to learn, and enjoys working both in the office and in the field.
Key Responsibilites:
Assist the project management team in coordinating project tasks, timelines, and resources. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, RFI's, submittals, meeting minutes, budgets and closeout documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. Support the monitoring of project progress and assist with resolving any issues that arise. Learn and apply project management methodologies and best practices. Contribute to the planning and implementation of project activities. Participate in meetings, offering support in project planning, coordination, and follow-up tasks. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's operations and project management processes. Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field Construction experience is a plus but not required. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
