CIVIL ENGINEER
Frank B. Taylor Engineering, Inc. Seeking a full time Civil Engineer with 1-5 years experience. Responsibilities will include Site Layout, Grading Plan Development, Utility Coordination, Sanitary Sewer Design, Storm Sewer and Stormwater Management Design, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan Design, and Permitting. Qualifications needed are a B.S. in Civil Engineering, E.I.T. Certification, proficiency in AutoCAD and Stormwater engineering programs, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Taylor Engineering is a family owned and operated engineering and surveying firm specializing in bridge replacement and rehabilitation, sewer system designs, land development, boundary and topographical surveys, construction, building and lot stake out, and subdivisions. We have provided services to municipalities, developers, and private citizens in the Western Pennsylvania area for over 40 years. In addition to the design work and survey work we complete for various private clients, we are also responsible for various types of work for municipalities. We review subdivision and development plans to ensure that they meet the municipality regulations and standards. We manage stormwater issues and make design or repair recommendations as needed. We deal with complaints regarding road conditions, bridge conditions, or stormwater runoff on behalf of the municipality and make recommendations based on our findings.
