Project EngineerPosition Responsibilities Provide engineering and technical support for air handling unit (AHU) projects from quotation through project execution. Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure compliance with design and performance criteria. Evaluate specifications and recommend value-engineered alternatives when appropriate. Generate equipment pricing and project cost estimates based on specifications, selections, and sales representative input. Coordinate with sales representatives, consulting engineers, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution. Develop equipment selections, layouts, and technical documentation to support project requirements. Produce and manage project submittals, drawings, and related documentation for customer approval. Assist with design modifications, technical issue resolution, and project-related engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain project schedules and support timely completion of project deliverables. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline. Experience reviewing construction documents, blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings and ceating Bills of Material. Ability to interpret and apply technical requirements from plans, specifications, and engineering documents. Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD design and drafting. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with customers, sales teams, consulting engineers, and internal stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Air Handling Unit (AHU) design and application experience. 3-5+ years of HVAC engineering, heat transfer, project engineering, or equipment application experience. Familiarity with HVAC equipment selection and performance analysis. Experience preparing submittals and coordinating engineering deliverables for construction projects. #
