Full Job Description Civil Engineer Location:

Vancouver, WA (Hybrid) Jackson Civil is a growing civil engineering firm serving public and private clients throughout Washington State. We are seeking a Civil Engineer with public-sector experience who is motivated by meaningful projects, professional growth, and leadership opportunities. This role offers increasing responsibility, mentorship of junior staff, and direct involvement with clients and communities. What You'll Do Plan and design public works and capital facilities projects from concept through construction Collaborate directly with municipal clients, agencies, and stakeholders Manage and mentor junior engineers and design staff Coordinate with contractors and review construction activities for quality and compliance Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables Apply innovative, community-focused solutions to infrastructure challenges Experience with potable water or wastewater systems is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 6+ years of professional civil engineering experience , with public works or municipal project exposure Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington and Oregon, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard project management tools Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients Interest in leadership, mentorship, and long-term career growth Work Environment Hybrid schedule available Candidates must be comfortable commuting to the Vancouver office as needed for collaboration and project demands

Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:

$110,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience and licensure)
