Long-Term Contract Position OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the planning, design, execution, and oversight of construction and building systems projects.

This position is responsible for managing projects that improve the value, reliability, and long-term performance of facility assets. The Project Engineer will coordinate internal engineering and construction teams, external consulting firms, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, procurement activities, and contractor performance while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements. What You'll DoLead the design, engineering, and construction of capital improvement and facility infrastructure projectsManage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and procurement activitiesCoordinate internal engineering resources, external consulting firms, and design-build partnersDevelop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions that support operational needsDirect construction activities performed by internal trades, contractors, and vendorsMonitor contractor performance, project quality, safety compliance, and adherence to specificationsIdentify and mitigate project risks throughout the planning and execution processProactively resolve technical, construction, and operational challengesEnsure compliance with applicable building codes, environmental regulations, safety standards, and local, state, and federal requirementsServe as a liaison between engineering, operations, contractors, customers, and business partnersMaintain clear communication regarding project schedules, budgets, risks, and progressDevelop project execution strategies that maximize facility reliability and long-term asset performanceSupport continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycleWhat You'll BringExperience managing engineering, construction, capital improvement, or facility infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost controlExperience coordinating contractors, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teamsUnderstanding of construction methods, building systems, engineering principles, and project specificationsKnowledge of applicable building codes, environmental requirements, and workplace safety standardsAbility to identify risks, solve technical problems, and manage competing project prioritiesStrong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to travel up to 40% as requiredWhy Consider This Opportunity?
