All Metal Building Systems is looking for an experienced Pre-Engineered Metal Building Estimator to join our team in Dothan, Alabama. This is a full-time, in-person position. Remote work is not available for this role. We are looking for someone who can step into the position and contribute immediately. Previous hands-on MBS experience is mandatory. At this time, we do not have the ability to train someone from the ground up on MBS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PEMB estimating, understand how a metal building moves from plans and specifications through estimating and production, and be comfortable working directly inside MBS. Responsibilities include reviewing architectural and structural plans, specifications, addenda and bid documents; building and pricing complete PEMB projects in MBS; performing accurate material takeoffs; reviewing framing conditions, loads, openings, roof and wall systems, insulation, accessories and special conditions; identifying scope gaps or RFIs; and working closely with sales, engineering, detailing, purchasing and production. The estimator will also help review estimates for accuracy before release, maintain organized bid records, meet bid deadlines, and identify MBS pricing or component issues when encountered.

Required Qualifications:

Previous MBS estimating experience is mandatory Previous PEMB estimating experience Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Working knowledge of primary framing, secondary framing, roof systems, wall systems, trim, insulation and PEMB accessories Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal training Reliable attendance for an in-person Monday-Friday schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

Several years of PEMB estimating experience Advanced MBS knowledge Experience with MBS pricing, Cost.

Out, component setup or database maintenance Experience working directly for a PEMB manufacturer Familiarity with fabrication and production Experience coordinating with engineers and detailers

Schedule and Work Location:

This position is onsite at All Metal Building Systems in Dothan, Alabama, Monday through Friday. This is not a remote or hybrid position. No weekend work is expected under the normal schedule.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay will be based on experience, MBS knowledge, education and overall ability to step into the role and contribute immediately. Applicants without MBS experience will not be considered.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
