Project Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Civil Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and drafting of civil infrastructure projects, and will be responsible for preparing construction drawings, performing design calculations, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop site layout, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway designs using Civil 3D and related tools Prepare design plans, construction documents, and specifications Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management analysis, and permitting support Coordinate with project managers, other engineers, and clients to meet project goals and deadlines Assist with cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentation? Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations Review local municipal and/or county ordinances for compliance? Coordination with outside consultants and review agencies

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field 3-6 years of civil design experience (site development, NPDES, E&S Permitting, or public infrastructure preferred) Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, codes, and standards Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with permitting processes (local/state/federal) Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, or HydroCAD Experience in working with public agencies or municipalities EIT certification preferred
