Structural Engineer ( or Civil, Non-Traditional)

The Solutions Engineer position at RISA functions as a technical expert for RISA products and provides both technical and marketing support (content creation) to the company. As a new member of our team, this position will include the following responsibilities: Responsibilities Utilize engineering and software knowledge to provide live technical demonstrations to prospective clients and customers based on ascertained pain points and workflow inefficiencies. Work closely with sales and success specialists to ensure client satisfaction and adoption by answering specific engineering and software related questions via phone and email. Demonstrate knowledgeable customer service support while maintaining a positive company image during all interactions (phone, email, virtual and in-person) with customers. Create technical marketing content and training materials (articles, webinars, videos) that promote RISA products and answer common prospect/customer questions. Attend conferences, local meetings, and customer visits while providing superior product knowledge and support to customers. Work diligently to ensure customer satisfaction through the entire sales and support process. Up to 10-15% travel to conferences, customer offices, and the RISA office. Experience Hybrid work Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on providing precise and consistent responses to clients via email. Confident when speaking to customers in person and online. Team player, self-motivated, and positive "can do" attitude. Has strong problem-solving skills. Has persistence and demonstrates follow-through with the clients until issues/questions are resolved. Thrive in a team working environment as well as confident working independently. Able to comfortably communicate engineering concepts with users to solve technical issues via both telephone and email Able to multi-task between projects and deadlines to ensure responsiveness as well as completion of tasks assigned Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering. 3 to 5 years structural design engineering experience. Experience interacting directly with customers is a plus. PE license required.

Job Requirements:

Full-time position with required core hours. Remote position (with travel required to Southern California office 1 to 2 times a year). Attendance to regular virtual meetings. Attendance to "RISA week" or other occasional meetings in Southern California (Foothill Ranch, CA)

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $90K to $110K annual salary with an additional production incentive plan.
