Your next opportunity should build on that experience. At C&S Companies, we're looking for an experienced transportation engineer who wants to take greater ownership of projects, strengthen client relationships, develop other engineers, and help shape the continued growth of our transportation practice in Western York. We already have a strong foundation. C&S is one of the largest transportation consulting firms in Western York, working with NYSDOT, the York State Thruway Authority, GTC, counties, municipalities, and communities across the region. Now we're looking for people who can help us build on it. The Opportunity As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to lead meaningful transportation projects while expanding your influence beyond the technical work. For the right person, this role can be more than the next step on an organizational chart. It can be an opportunity to build your reputation, expand your leadership experience, and help shape a growing transportation practice. What You'll Work On Our transportation work ranges from local roadway improvements to major state and federally funded infrastructure projects. You'll help lead projects from early planning through final design and construction support, including: Highway and roadway design
NYSDOT and Federal Aid projects

Construction plans, specifications, estimates, and bid documents
Multidisciplinary project coordination
Technical reviews and quality oversight
Client and agency coordination
Construction-phase engineering support The projects will vary. What won't change is the expectation that you'll have meaningful ownership of the work. Your Impact Won't Stop at Project Delivery We're looking for someone who wants to contribute beyond completing the next set of plans. Your experience can help us make better technical decisions, strengthen client relationships, develop younger engineers, and improve how we deliver projects. You'll have opportunities to: Lead.
Take ownership of projects and guide teams through complex technical and delivery challenges. Influence.
Have a voice in project decisions and help improve how our transportation team approaches its work. Mentor.
Share what you've learned and help younger engineers develop the judgment and confidence that only come through experience. Build relationships.
