Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical Building Engineer to join our dedicated team in the Engineering & Maintenance department. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing building systems and infrastructure across various commercial properties managed by JLL. The successful candidate will oversee the mechanical and HVAC operations, ensuring all components meet industry standards and sustainability goals, contributing to JLL's commitment to excellence in real estate services. Responsibilities Manage, operate, and maintain all mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems within the property to ensure optimal functioning. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks, documenting findings and actions taken. Identify improvement opportunities in energy management and system efficiencies to reduce costs and enhance sustainability. Respond to and resolve emergency situations related to building systems, ensuring minimal disruption to property operations. Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and compliance with safety standards. Prepare and present reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and future needs to senior management. Required Skills Expertise in HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS) Excellent communication and team coordination abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
