Structural Engineer Elk Point, SD 57025 Internship Internship Join a growing team designing innovative precast concrete modular buildings used for critical infrastructure projects across North America. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in structural design. Responsibilities Assist with the structural design and analysis of precast concrete modular buildings. Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and design documentation. Collaborate with engineering, drafting, manufacturing, and project teams to develop practical, buildable solutions. Support product improvements and engineering standardization efforts. Ensure designs meet applicable building codes and engineering standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or graduating soon). Internship, coursework, or experience with structural or concrete design is preferred. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, STAAD, or similar engineering software is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. EIT certification or the ability to obtain it is preferred.
