Elk Point, SD We are a growing holistic healthcare clinic serving families in our rural community and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide and support your family with a holistic and natural way to achieve wellness and prevent mental, emotional, and physical dis-ease. As our clinic expands, we are looking for a compassionate and motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Physician Assistant (PA), or similarly qualified Advanced Practice Provider who shares our desire to provide thoughtful, personalized care to individuals and families. The Opportunity The practitioner will play an important role in expanding primary and integrative healthcare services in our community. This position will provide care for families, young children, and adults , while working alongside our existing team to help patients pursue better health through both traditional and holistic approaches.Responsibilities will include:
Providing primary care services for individuals and families Caring for young children , including well-child visits and routine pediatric needs Evaluating and treating acute and urgent care needs Managing chronic health conditions and ongoing patient needs Performing physical examinations and health assessments Reviewing and helping interpret laboratory work and diagnostic testing Ordering appropriate labs and follow-up testing Providing IV nutritional therapy Educating patients and families about lifestyle, nutrition, wellness, and preventative health Looking beyond symptoms to help identify and address potential root causes of health concerns Collaborating with other practitioners and members of the clinic team Establishing long-term relationships with patients and families in our community Maintaining appropriate clinical documentation and standards of care What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: A licensed Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or similarly qualified Advanced Practice Provider Comfortable providing care to both adults and children Willing and able to work with young children ; extensive pediatric experience is not required Compassionate, personable, and genuinely interested in building relationships with patients Teachable and open-minded toward integrative and holistic approaches to healthcare Interested in exploring natural, nutritional, and lifestyle-based approaches to improving health Someone who desires to look at the whole picture of a patient's health , rather than simply treating individual symptoms Comfortable working in a growing, collaborative rural healthcare environment Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to grow alongside an expanding practice Committed to treating every patient with dignity, kindness, integrity, and respect A Great Fit For Someone Who This position would be a great fit for a practitioner who enjoys relationship-based medicine and wants the opportunity to practice in an environment where there is time and freedom to look deeper. You don't have to already be an expert in holistic medicine. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn. A desire to understand nutrition, lifestyle, environmental factors, and other influences on health-and a willingness to grow in these areas-is more important to us than having extensive experience in integrative medicine.
