Job Description

Our client is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support on-site projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base. This role involves managing construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Pay:

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour

DOE Key Responsibilities:

Serve as Project Engineer on assigned construction contracts, performing tasks independently and escalating complex issues Review plans, specifications, and contractor submittals for complianceCoordinate with project managers, contractors, cost-sharing partners, and stakeholdersSupport quality assurance, safety, and project scheduling effortsMonitor construction progress and identify potential risks or delaysAssist with contract modifications, RFIs, government estimates, and project documentationPrepare partial and final payment estimates and review contractor proposalsParticipate in meetings including pre-construction, safety, and coordination

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline)5+ years of construction engineering experienceStrong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and QA processesExcellent communication and organizational skills
