As a leading project and construction management firm, Overwatch is committed to providing exceptional services and delivering high-quality projects for our clients. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of various construction projects, from inception to completion. The Project Engineer start date is 1/1/2027. The applicant must be available to be on site in Chattanooga, TN.
Salary Range:
$70,000-$80,000 Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Responsibilities Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager. Responsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, etc. Organize and maintain project files Assist CM with change order management. The PE shall be able to independently review change order requests for merit and fair pricing, and prepare change orders for processing. Manage the closeout and turn over process. Assist CM to prepare project files for audit at project completion. Site conditions verification and support as needed. Requirements 1+ year of experience in construction management, owner's representative services, project engineering, or construction administration Experience supporting large capital construction projects Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore or Primavera P6 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Ability to obtain project-required security credentials and background clearances.
