Building Engineer Position Description Collaborative Real Estate

JOB SUMMARY

Assist with the daily operations, maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems of the building. Responsibilities include assuring high standards of customer service, professionalism always, including timely response to and resolution of any client's requests or concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer service (internal and exterior clients) Building inspections Vendor relations Preventive maintenance Trouble shoot and repair base building system or hire appropriate vendor to complete the task. IAQ and IEQ On call and emergency response Energy efficiency and cost savings measures Performs other duties as assigned

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Minimum of high school diploma and 3 - 5 years of experience in property maintenance and / or trade school training. Universal CFC certification, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls and mechanical power transmissions. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Utilize basic PC-based business software, including Microsoft products and systems tools for maintaining services records. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle details with few errors.

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
