We're looking for a sharp, driving Take-Off Project Engineer to join our growing team and play a critical role in the preconstruction process. If you know your way around AGTEK or comparable, understand civil construction, and have attention to detail to turn complex plans into accurate, competitive take-offs, we want to talk to you!! This is more than a take-off position. You'll have the opportunity to become a key player in a rapidly expanding civil construction company where your work directly impacts the projects we win and the success we deliver.

What You'll Do:

Perform detailed earthwork and civil construction quantity take-offs from plans, specifications, and digital models. Use AGTEK or comparable software to calculate quantities, develop take-offs, and analyze sitework. Review civil plans, grading plans, utility plans, and specifications for scope, quantities, and potential issues. Assist with estimating project costs , production quantities, materials, labor, and equipment. Identify discrepancies, scope gaps, and opportunities before a project bid. Coordinate with estimators, project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers. Help prepare competitive and accurate bids and proposals. Maintain organized bid documentation and estimating records. Support the team throughout the preconstruction process and help ensure projects transition smoothly from estimate to field operations. bring a " Figure it out" mentality to challenging projects and constantly look for ways to improve accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

What We're Looking For:

Experienced with AGTEK or comparable and civil/sitework take offs Knowledge in earthwork, grading, utilities, site development, and general civil construction Highly detail-oriented with strong mathematical and analytical skills Able to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications Comfortable working with tight bid deadlines and multiple projects Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction-related technology A strong communicator who can work effectively with both the office and field teams Self-motivated, organized, and accountable Hungry to grow with a company that is growing fast and thinking big A degree in Construction management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field is a plus but proven estimating/take-ff experience and AGTEK or comparable proficiency are what matter most.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
