Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Temporary) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, scheduling, and cost control will drive project success from planning through execution. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale civil engineering projects, providing vital support to project teams and stakeholders. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help keep projects moving forward efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Assist in developing detailed project schedules and project submittals Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly. Review construction plans and specifications to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Track project costs and perform Excel data analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Monitor daily technical progress in field work. Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts, change orders, and ensuring adherence to project scope. Contribute to construction site inspections to monitor safety, quality standards, and progress against schedule. Manage time effectively across multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of project coordination. Experience Proven project management experience in the construction industry with a focus on civil engineering projects. Hands-on construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with construction plans, schedules, and safety protocols. Experience using construction management software including SAP or similar platforms for documentation and communication. Demonstrated ability in Excel data analysis for tracking project metrics and supporting decision-making processes. Familiarity with civil engineering project management software and general construction industry practices is highly desirable. Excellent analysis skills combined with effective time management to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Prior involvement in contract review, change order processing, and cost management activities will be advantageous. Bachelors in Engineering or Construction Management required Your energy-driven approach combined with technical proficiency will be instrumental in delivering successful outcomes while advancing your career in a vibrant construction environment.
