Job Description
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Lamar University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Adjunct faculty are appointed on a semester-by-semester basis based on departmental instructional needs. Successful candidates will provide high-quality instruction and support student success while working collaboratively with the department faculty. Prepare and deliver assigned undergraduate and/or graduate Civil and Environmental Engineering courses. Develop instructional materials, evaluate student learning, maintain course records, and submit grades according to university deadlines. Maintain communication with students and the department regarding course-related matters. Attend required meetings and complete administrative responsibilities associated with assigned courses. Other duties may be assigned to this position on a regular or occasional basis to respond to the needs of the university.
