The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time. Responsibilities Design and develop civil engineering projects including infrastructure, water treatment facilities, and pipelines. Prepare detailed schematics and construction documents using MicroStation and Civil 3D software. Conduct construction estimating to ensure project budgets are adhered to. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure effective project execution. Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and proposals for accuracy. Oversee construction management activities to ensure projects are completed according to design specifications. Perform site visits and inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations. Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Skills Proficiency in civil engineering software such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards. Experience in project engineering and construction estimating is highly desirable. Familiarity with water treatment processes and pipeline design. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues effectively. Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
