Job Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIREDSKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): Must have recent Level 4 experience with the following skills:- Airframe primary structure layout and sizing
- Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures
- NASTRAN, HyperMesh, Abaqus experience
- Catia
V5 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for performing stress analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure, as well as updating existing analyses to incorporate design changes. Experience in stress analysis of subsystems and subsystems installations desired. Experience with MRB stress analysis of metallic and composite structure desired. Required experience with FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. Experience using Abaqus highly desired. Experience using TMP Vision for post-processing desired. Experience withCATIA V5/3DX
highly desired. Familiarity withUNIX/LINUX
operating systems desired. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(DESIRED- Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT and 3DX a plus
