A Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Performs stress analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure. Updates existing analyses to incorporate design changes. Performs stress analysis of subsystems and subsystem installations. Performs MRB stress analysis of metallic and composite structure. Uses FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. Uses Abaqus for stress analysis. Uses TMP Vision for post-processing. Uses
CATIA V5/3DX
for design and analysis. Interprets detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models. Applies airframe primary structure layout and sizing and hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures.
Requirements:
Active Secret Security Clearance required to start. Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Experience with FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. Experience using Abaqus. Experience using TMP Vision for post-processing. Experience with
CATIA V5/3DX.
Familiarity with
UNIX/LINUX
operating systems. Ability to interpret detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models. Airframe primary structure layout and sizing. Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures. Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT and 3DX is a plus.
