Duties Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software. Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, blueprints, schematics, and contract specifications. Review and interpret construction drawings and blueprints; coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate implementation of design intent. Assist in preparing accurate construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools; monitor project budgets and costs throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and progress reports. Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking, document control, and communication across teams. Support project scheduling efforts by updating timelines regularly and identifying potential delays or conflicts early to maintain momentum. Requirements Proven experience in construction site management or as a Construction Project Engineer with a solid understanding of heavy civil or commercial projects. Proficiency with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid; experience with Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling tools is essential. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction management processes. Familiarity with civil engineering software including Civil 3D for site design coordination. Hands-on experience with construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation and communication. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and contract documents accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to facilitate project coordination among diverse teams; ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
