Job Description

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
(EIT or PE) Our client is a top structural design firm with a focus on foundation and framing for residential and light commercial roles. They are seeking to add a
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
to their team with compensation at $90K-$150K, depending on experience. This role is
DIRECT-HIRE
(PERM), with
FULL BENEFITS
available. This position is located in Fort Worth (North Area) and does require onsite attendance.
  • This role does require a
BACHELOR'S
DEGREE and current EIT or PE standing. This role requires relevant experience in
RESIDENTIAL
structural or
LIGHT COMMERCIAL
structural.
    The Expectations:
    • Lead structural design for residential and light commercial projects, with a focus on foundations and framing systems (wood, steel, and concrete).
    • Prepare, review, and seal structural calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with applicable building codes and standards.
    • Conduct site investigations and structural inspections; evaluate existing structures and develop repair or retrofit solutions.
    • Serve as Engineer of Record on select projects, taking responsibility for technical accuracy and code compliance.
    • Coordinate directly with clients, architects, contractors, and local jurisdictions in a highly collaborative two-engineer firm environment.
    • Manage projects from proposal through construction administration, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.
    • Support business development through client relationships, repeat work, and proposal preparation.
    The Experience Needed:
    • Structural Design - Residential and Light Commercial Experience, REQUIRED
    • Bachelor's Degree, REQUIRED
    • EIT or PE Status, REQUIRED
    • This role does require a
    BACHELOR'S
