Cooling Towers, LLC is one of the nation's leading specialty contractors focused exclusively on industrial cooling tower repair, maintenance, upgrades, and new construction. Our projects support power generation, petrochemical, refining, manufacturing, and other critical industrial facilities across the United States. This position provides hands-on experience in engineering, estimating, project management, and field construction. You will work alongside experienced professionals while learning a highly specialized industry with significant long-term career growth opportunities. What You'll Do As an Estimator / Project Engineer, you'll receive training while assisting with: Preparing detailed cost estimates for industrial cooling tower projects Performing quantity takeoffs from engineering drawings Reviewing mechanical and structural drawings Developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) Coordinating vendor quotations and pricing Assisting with equipment selection including motors, gearboxes, fans, and FRP structural components Supporting Project Managers during construction Conducting occasional site visits to industrial facilities Working closely with engineering, estimating, procurement, fabrication, and field operations Building Excel-based estimating models and project cost analyses What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Construction Science Industrial Engineering Engineering Technology Or a closely related field Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and organizational abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to read or quickly learn engineering drawings Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is a plus but not required : AutoCAD Bluebeam Revu SolidWorks or similar CAD software Industrial construction Mechanical equipment Structural steel or FRP systems Rotating equipment (motors, fans, gearboxes) Cost estimating Project engineering Internships in construction or manufacturing What Makes Someone Successful Here?
