This is an ideal role for individuals with 1-3 years of experience who are eager to build a long-term career in the construction industry. You will assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in executing day-to-day field and office tasks, gaining exposure to DOT/public works projects and large-scale infrastructure. This individual should be organized, detail-oriented, and ready to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support field operations by assisting with layout, measurements, and quality control. Help prepare and track RFIs, submittals, daily reports and production Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications under guidance. Assist with quantity tracking and material delivery coordination. Maintain organized project documentation and logs. Participate in progress meetings and jobsite safety reviews. Communicate with foremen, superintendents, and vendors to support construction workflow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or 3+ years in the construction industry. Basic understanding of construction drawings and documentation. Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, HCSS, and CPM Scheduling. Strong communication skills and willingness to work in both field and office settings.
