Job Description

Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Project Engineer II is responsible to work with the project team to ensure the Superintendent has the means and methods to successfully complete medium scale projects of various size and type.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development and completion of assigned projects. Responsible for project set-up, maintenance, and closeout in selected software Coordinates with the project team in regards to RFIs, submittals, contract modifications, and other changes to the project. Performs SWPP inspections Captures project progress through schedule updates. Create and maintain units in place to track progress of subcontractors on-site. Create and maintain punch list for subcontractors and project completion Maintains close out documents, close out log, training videos, and organize and submit red line drawings. Analyzes processes and systems to identify ways to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs. Understands and adheres to safety requirements and protocols. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Advances experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Strong understanding of various project software systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work individually and in a team environment and coordinate with project team on a regular basis.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Management, related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role. 1 -3 years of experience in commercial construction preferred. OSHA 30 hour certification
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to maneuver on a commercial project site and lift up to 25 pounds.
