OPPORTUNITY
As a Construction Project Engineer Intern, you will support the Development team in managing various aspects of the construction process, including project coordination, field observations, scheduling, estimating, and construction analytics. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects across a variety of real estate product types, gaining exposure to all phases of development and construction. Interns interact with professionals across the Transactions, Development, Asset Management, Land, and Finance teams while also collaborating with third-party architects, engineers, contractors, and trade partners. This role provides firsthand exposure to institutional real estate development, construction management, investment strategy, and industry-leading market participants throughout the country.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy Pursuing or nearing completion of a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, or a related field Strong interest in commercial real estate development and construction management Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business applications Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams
PR/IP SPECIFICALLY, YOU WILL
Support Project Managers in day-to-day construction management activities Assist with preconstruction efforts, including estimating, construction analytics, budgeting support, and product research Participate in Owner, Architect, and Contractor coordination meetings Conduct construction site visits, inspections, and field observations Track project progress and maintain documentation related to construction activities Record meeting notes, action items, and project updates Assist with scheduling and coordination of project activities Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants throughout the development process Utilize industry-leading software and project management platforms including Procore, Yardi, Primavera P6, and related tools Perform other essential duties as assigned
