Building Engineer-PT Location:

Sandy, UT-This is a roving position supporting five locations within approximately a 20-mile radius north and south of Sandy. Candidates must be flexible with travel between sites.

Pay:

$32-$35/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Part-time 30-35 hours hour work week-flexible with days and times. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial buildings, building systems, and equipment.

Monitor and inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, and other building systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofs, drains, and other facility components.

Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and repair documentation accurately.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.

Support energy management initiatives to maximize system efficiency and minimize operating costs.

Maintain building lighting systems, including ballast and fixture replacements.

Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and vendors when necessary.

Assist the Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering in maintaining a safe, well-maintained property. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of commercial building maintenance experience.

Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.

Experience with preventative maintenance programs and troubleshooting building equipment.

Relevant trade licenses or certifications are a plus (EPA Universal Certification, Refrigeration Certification, Journeyman/Master Electrician, Boiler License, etc.). #BGTA1 #
