Job Description
Step into high-ownership land development work in Brambleton, Loudoun County, where your expertise directly shapes projects from design and entitlement through permitting, construction, and proffer/bond closeout. This Civil Engineer opportunity offers a fast-paced, on-site role with regular field visits and the chance to coordinate across civil teams, public agencies, and contractors. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer position include: 7+ years overseeing land development projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use construction Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Virginia PE license (or ability to obtain VA reciprocity within 6 months) Experience managing projects through design, entitlement, permitting, construction, and bond/proffer release Strong ability to read, interpret, and amend construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Experience using construction management/scheduling tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and public agencies to maintain compliance and keep projects on track Oversee site plan development, grading, stormwater management, and utility/infrastructure design coordination
Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Benefits:
