Project Engineer - Water/WastewaterJob SummaryWe are seeking a Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater with 2-10 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater engineering design. The ideal candidate will have experience with infrastructure projects, technical design, engineering documentation, and working with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and support municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Work on pump stations, pipelines, storage systems, and utility improvements.
Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, construction drawings, and cost estimates.
Perform design calculations and assist with quality control of project deliverables.
Support projects through design, bidding, and construction phases.
Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance.
Participate in client meetings and support proposal/business development activities.
Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater2-10 years of water/wastewater engineering design experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
Strong knowledge of municipal water and wastewater systems.
Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, reports, and calculations.
Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with municipal clients.
Experience with pump stations and linear infrastructure.
Project management experience involving scope, schedule, and budget.
Experience mentoring junior staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
PE license or EIT certification is a plus.
