Job Description
We are seeking a 8-10 Structural Engineers to work with our engineering team in all aspects of ship design. The Company has participated on numerous industry design and engineering teams and has contributed to ongoing, hull mechanical and electrical research and development activities. 1. Responsibilities
- Works independently (with moderate supervision), or on project teams
- Perform assessments applying structural engineering principles, procedures and criteria
- Develops analysis and prepares technical reports or other engineering documentation.
- Analyzes change documentation for ship structural systems in accordance with the latest industry structural standards and practices 2. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace or Ocean Engineering
- 2 to 6 years of professional engineering experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be able to travel to a client site for training
- Must be a U.
