Newport News, VA (on-site 5 days/week) Position Overview Genesis is seeking an Engineer for its Newport News, VA office to work with the engineering team across all aspects of ship design. The organization's experience spans preliminary and contract-level design package development through detail design and engineering, production design, and through-life support. As an independent naval architecture and marine engineering firm, the team includes engineers, designers, and analysts across traditional engineering disciplines — naval architecture, propulsion, mechanical/auxiliaries, structural, and electrical — as well as program, administrative, and financial management. This broad capability supports fully integrated, engineered solutions for the most challenging design problems. The organization has participated on numerous industry design and engineering teams and contributed to ongoing hull, mechanical, and electrical research and development activities.
