Krebs & Lansing Consulting Engineers, Inc. is looking to fill an opening for a full-time Civil Engineer position, with opportunity for future growth. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Krebs & Lansing is a service oriented, fast-paced civil engineering firm in Colchester, Vermont. The firm is dedicated to providing high quality professional engineering, surveying and project management services for our clients in a timely fashion. Responsibilities AutoCAD drafting engineering and construction documents (experience appreciated but not required). Prepare plans, plots and reports Possible occasional field work Construction observation and site review Produce engineering calculations related to stormwater, water and wastewater systems Revise drawings from markups and/or instructions Complete assigned tasks on all projects in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Active Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification 0-5+ years of experience in Civil Engineering. Compensation will be based on experience Knowledge of stormwater modeling and AutoCAD is a plus Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals
